Whiskey Truffles (v)

Give the gift of a low carb treat and spoil your loved one with these delicious chocolate whiskey truffles. We’ve dusted ours in cocoa powder, but you could use desiccated coconut, chopped nuts or even grated chocolate.

150g 80% Dark Chocolate

150ml Double Cream

25g Unsalted Butter

2 tbsp. Whiskey

2 tbsp. Cocoa Powder


Preparation Method

  1. Firstly, break the chocolate into small pieces, place in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Add the cream and butter to a saucepan and place over a low heat until the cream is just about simmering. Remove from the heat and stir in the whiskey. Pour over the chocolate and then stir until smooth.
  3. Cover with cling film and leave to chill for at least 4 hours.
  4. Remove from the fridge, then use a teaspoon to take a spoonful of the mixture and roll into a ball. Roll the truffle into the cocoa powder and set aside. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
