Here we share with you some more information about who we are along with our favourite features of the Low Carb Program.


“I changed from nursing to nutrition, then began working with Diabetes Digital Media as a nutritionist and recipe writer. I also regularly supported members on the Discussion as a Behaviour Change Mentor. My role then developed to Operations Manager and I now oversee the team of nutritionists, content writers and Behaviour Change Mentors.

I love cooking and eating out with friends and family. I keep active by going to the gym, running and walking my dog.

My favourite feature of the Low Carb Program is the community, as members can talk to other members, share experiences and ideas and have access to the Behaviour Change Mentors. It is also really nice as a Behaviour Change Mentor to be able to speak to members, help them on their journey and hear about their success. As for my favourite recipe, it has to be the Yuk Sung. It’s a great Fakeaway recipe and so easy to make”.



“My favourite recipe on the Low Carb Program would have to be the Raspberry Bakewell Yoghurt Bowl – you can’t go wrong with almond butter and raspberries! My background is in nutrition and after studying it at university, I am now a registered associate nutritionist. I have always been interested in food, so I love being able to combine my passions for cooking and food with nutrition and health.

My favourite feature of the Low Carb Program is the Lifestyle section – it’s a fantastic area for learning and exploring more about a low carb diet”.



My background is a bit different from the other Behaviour Change Mentors as I studied BSc Psychology at university and went on to study an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. I’ve previously worked in mental health services including an adult eating disorder unit and joined the team in February 2018.

My favourite feature of the Low Carb Program is the ongoing support that members can receive on the Discussion. I’m sure that many agree that emotional support can be just as important as practical support and can help you to feel less alone on this journey. I also enjoy interviewing case studies on their low carb story – if you’ve shared your story with us you might have spoken to me!

My favourite go-to recipe is the bacon chilli, it’s a great recipe to make in advance and enjoy as a hearty, warming meal during the week”.
