Cheese on toast is an ultimate comfort food – try this lower carb version which can be ready in under 10 minutes.

Low Carb Cheese on Toast (v)

30g Ground Almonds

½ tsp. Baking Powder

1 Egg

1 tbsp. Olive Oil

Pinch of Salt

40g Grated Cheese


Preparation Method

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a microwave-friendly container before adding the egg and oil then mix thoroughly until combined.
  2. Microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes.
  3. Leave to cool before slicing.
  4. Toast and add grated cheese then grill for a few minutes until bubbling. Enjoy!
