Chrissy lost almost 25kg on the Low Carb Program
After trying lots of different diets and still struggling to lose weight, Chrissy Stevens became committed to the low carb lifestyle at the beginning of 2018.
“My start weight was 105kg (16st 8 lbs) and now I weigh 80kg (12st 9 lbs). I’ve had to buy a new wardrobe – I bought two pairs of trousers last year that were too tight and now they’re falling off me! I also have type 2 diabetes and it has helped my blood sugars to come down”
Chrissy cut out sugar, bread and potatoes and now eats meals such as chicken salad, or avocado with boiled eggs and olives. She says she’s used the weight loss as motivation to start dating.
“Don’t give up. The first two weeks are the worst but then it becomes a lot easier. I cut out cakes and anything sweet, its been the only diet that I can stick to. The recipes on the Low Carb Program have been so helpful.”
